By receiving Jesus into our hearts, and allowing His word to work in us, flawed character traits are cut away so that the fruit of the Spirit may flourish.
To produce anything of eternal value, we need to be in Jesus and need Jesus in us. Without Jesus, everything else we have is worthless.
Charitable love is the best fruit. If we ask for it, we will receive it, on one condition: We must give love as freely as we receive it.
To be in Jesus, and to have Jesus in us is to love Him.
To love Jesus is to keep His commandments.
